Everything you need to know about Team Phoenix Basketball.

By joining Team Phoenix, your athlete will develop both athletically and socially through advanced training, increased competition, and accountability. We teach responsibility, teamwork, communication, commitment, and work ethic — skills that extend well beyond the court.

It depends on the team and program. See current team, Phoenix 360, academy and private-training pricing on our Membership page, or contact us with questions.

Full upfront payment for the season is preferred to ensure commitment and maintain consistent rosters. Installment plans are available under special circumstances.

Teams generally carry 9–10 players. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Team Phoenix has multiple tiers based on player ability, competitiveness, and other factors. The goal is to place every athlete in the right environment for their development — not too easy, not overwhelming.

It depends on grade and level, but teams average about 2 events per month, ranging from showcases to full tournaments.

P32 and E32 teams compete in high-level national exposure events against top competition. Select and Premier teams play quality regional events within the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with travel outside the region only by team approval.

All events are played on weekends. Locations are set by the event host — parents and players are notified once venues are confirmed. Regional teams stay in the DFW Metroplex. P32 and E32 teams can expect travel to cities including San Antonio, St. Louis, and Memphis.

The program runs year-round, broken into three seasons: Fall (September–November), Winter (December–February), and Spring/Summer (March–August). High school practices typically run March through July, with national and premier teams playing through end of July.

Practice days are set by each team. Most teams practice twice a week. Reach out to your coach directly for team-specific details.

We work with programs at every level — NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, Postgrad/Prep, and Christian/Other institutions. Since 2023, 30+ Phoenix athletes have gone on to play college basketball.

High school tryouts run January through March, with multiple dates available. JrP32 and JrE32 tryouts begin in November and conclude by early February. Athletes 7th grade and under are welcome to open practices year-round — no tryout required.

Yes. Private training is available in single sessions and 4- or 8-session packages on our Membership page. New to Team Phoenix? Start with a $10 trial session and our coaches will recommend the right plan.
